I used to drive a car just like that. Green. I wanted to be just like Mr. Bean....

Not really. I was 17, and well, limited choices and all that.

It looks like they're still making mini coopers, this special edition one looks ultra sweet. Can they import one of these to California?

If you ever manage to fold yourself into one of those, I *SO* want a picture!

Maybe I could buy two and use them as roller skates.

Minis are cool. A mate from SF took loads of pictures of the ones driven by students at the Bowlie Weekender last year. But they're really not designed for the Bay Area: my dad's first car was a Mini 850, and it had real problems with hills.

And another thing: now that BMW has sold off Land Rover to Ford, and the rest of Rover to a bunch of VCs, there might not be any more new Minis (or New Minis, the redesigned version due out this year). Get 'em while they're hot...

Apparrently BMW have kept the part of Rover that makes the Mini (the Oxford factory) and will be launching it in the next year or two, they've sold the rest off to the VCs who've gone on record saying they will be renaming Rover 'The MG Car Company' and producing 'specialist' sports cars and 'hot' coupes.
*SIGH* there goes another British car manufacturer...
