Jeez, what a tough crowd. Maybe some people in the universe have never seen superbad, maybe even a few hundred of those think it's not a yawn.

Apparently not, though.

As far as posting redesigns, there haven't been many threads on that topic of late. I don't see the problem here, since

A good post to MetaFilter is something that meets the following criteria: most people haven't seen it before, there is something interesting about the content on the page, and it might warrant discussion from others.

i'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but when i think "interesting" i think "stone babies" (or "calcified fetuses", as some prefer). and when i think "warrant discussion" i think...well i also think "stone babies", not superbad's new look.

Indeed. Christ, people, if you don't like a post, don't comment on it. A link with no comments whatsoever is a better hint that it probably wasn't the best topic for MeFi than a dozen people bickering over it.
