What does Dick Armey, the Green Party, the Traditional Values Coalition and the American Kurdish Information Network have in common? They all are blocked by internet filters mandated by congress in schools and libraries. That's ok, I didn't want to go to the Focus on the Family Pure Intimacy site anyway.

If you are struggling with online sexual temptation,
this area of the site provides resources for you.
(from Pure Intimacy)

I wouldn't call it "struggling" per se...

No, definitely not struggling.

Arm-wrestling, maybe, but not struggling...

why does aol block the green party?

i looked on the Web site that article claims aol blocks (http://www.greens.org) and there wasn't a single questionable word....

The Green Party may have been blocked by the aol "youth filter" with its anti-liberal bias, as reported by Bush Watch

This is my first post here, so I'm not sure my link will be clickable. How do you get one particular word to serve as a clickable link?

My wife's small school had some computers donated last year. I fixed 'em up and was going to get them on the 'net this weekend (they don't have a lot of spare money, so we've been donating parts and time) . . . except that she received an email from the higher ups today telling her that the school would have to buy a filter license for every computer that was connected to the internet and that they would be checking. They had just scraped together the money for modems: so this about kills the whole thing. Blech.

http://www.junkbuster.com? You can even download the file to crack the CyberPatrol blocklist and use that, once you've weeded out all the political sites that they take a personal dislike towards.

Thanks. That may solve the problem.
