I misread Alice's blog today. I thought she meant big Tabasco. Tabasco also makes a nice spicy soy sauce which is right tasty on Trader Joe's vegetable gyoza. I had no idea that they made pickled okra. I've never tried okra, but this might be enough incentive.

Did I mention that my dad got me to stop sucking my thumb by putting Tabasco on it? I blame him for my enjoyment of spicy food.

If you like Tobasco soy sauce, you'll probably like Try-Me Dragon Sauce as well. It's a thicker, hotter pepper & soy sauce that I love to use in stiry-fry and grilling (ususally to add some heat to milder sauces). Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a link; it's from the same people who make Tiger Sauce, if that's any help.

Almost anything pickled is great. Pickled okra, pickled gherkin, pickled asparagus, pickled pepper, pickled herring ...

Isn't 1:32PM a little early to get pickled?

It is never too early to get pickled. Just remember -- at any given hour, it is an acceptable time to "get picked" somewhere in the world -- just temporarily operate in that timezone.

I don't care if you set your Blogger preferences to any time zone in the world, here at MeFi, it's always PDT (Pyra Daylight Time).
Hey, that sounds pretty good... maybe I oughta apply for a job as a Pyra Sloganeer...
