Snow is falling throughout the WRAL-TV viewing area Southern snow. Better get milk and bread! It will be like going to the Kroger in Moscow, but you must have milk and bread. Wow, I love it when it snows hard in the South, what a magic time. Only once every 5 or 10 years do we see a foot of snow.

It's as deep in east atlanta as I've seen it for a long time. In fact, they are large, chunky, substantial flakes; the kind I haven't seen since living in Colden, NY as a kid.

Ahhh.

See that bright green thing?
That's me, sitting here in Florida, in a tee-shirt, next to my stupid brown christmas tree, envying the crap out of you.

I live on the coast of NC near the SC border, just a bit of snow so far for us... they claim we'll get some this afternoon though!

7" here in Norfolk, VA. I grew up in the Northeast and went to school in the midwest, so you'll understand how shocked I was to see that the roads were barely plowed and the walks still covered in the white stuff at 9am this morning.

So that's why there were so many people at the grocery last night. And I only bought bananas, tea, and milk! Silly Yankee.

5" so far here in Atlanta. The most snow I've seen here in the seven years I've called this city home. You should have seen the parking lot at the local Kroger about 4 pm yesterday--absolute madhouse. It made for a great snowball fight at my local bar though.
