What The Hell Is THIS All About?

What The Hell Is THIS All About? WTF? Is Fusion Anomaly a crazy encyclopedia? A warped search engine? A mind control machine? What's up with the entities, the flavors, the words and all the other stuff? Who's doing it? And why? Please advise. All instances of the famous MetaFilter detective work would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the second and fourth link: Entities and words were what I meant.

Looks like an ugly personal homepage from 1996.

The only way it reminds me of '96 is your leaning on how it looks rather than the actual contents. I've promised myself a few hours trawling around there this afternoon, it looks fascinating.

After preliminary sniff-about this seems quite similar in conception to everything2; nodes on various subjects/ideas/items which are then crosslinked with each other. Of course, the latter site doesn't have little animated icons strewn across the pages. Also fusion anomaly has pictures, which e2 does not.

Nifty link, Miguel.

quite interesting site, it reminds me of burke's connections tv program, if you carefully analyze, you discover that ultimately, everything is connected with everything… we should remind that more often

A little Googling suggests that it's the brainchild of someone(s) at this L.A. design firm.

Hey, thanks. Specially mokey, BT and kliuless for the links. I wish there were more web sites like these.
