Smoking Gun has revamped and updated their backstage pass section. Some are banal and some are are facinating. I'm in heaven.

This guy knew it all. Though just one big bottle of Perrier, no Irish or young Scotch whisky(just Chivas)is a bit hard on us whisky and soda types. I saw Sinatra(for it could only be him) once only, near the end of his career and he treated us to a long disquisition on the best gift he'd ever received: when Jack Daniel's Distillery named their cornfields the Sinatra Field...

I find it facinating that Loverboy requires anything more than an actual venue to play at. Must have missed that "2000 State Fair" tour.

And yet, despite all the lozenges and hot tea, Frank still asked for "1 Carton Camel cigarettes (no filter)"

I was surprised to see that the Foo Fighters rider is much more complex and strange than oh, say Destiny's Child. Though they do have quite a sense of humor about it.

I find it annoying that you can't spell fascinating, KS. I thought your comment on your own thread was someone picking on you and spelling it incorrectly on purpose, but it was just you, spelling the same 7th grade vocab quiz word incorrectly, again.

Ummm. Thanks Zekinskia. I'll be sure to donate to the Spelling Police Fund this year.

Prince's entourage is the only one with an ounce of class:

"Once again we encourage your chefs to be creative and come up with something that is not run of the mill. Local specialties are also strongly encouraged... Dinner must be served on china with flatware." This, while all the other acts aren't eating anything not advertised on TV, and ordering up ribbed condoms and tube socks.

But SG classifies Prince as 'Alt Rock'? Naw. Falls under 'Divas', surely.

I thought booze wasn't advertised on tv...?
