Seepost below. Perhaps those students who bitched about Israeli soldier hitting them can go to this site too as "observers" in case they get later called to testify abut war crimes.

In order to mirror comments in metafilter. the Zio-Nazi occupying settlers brought it on themselves.

Oh, I see, that's pre-emptive sarcasm.

I don't think most Western Palestinian supporters would justify this sort of action, anyway.

The entire mid-East conflict is a sick, sick fuck.

Someone please help me, I'm confused: Was that a tit or a tat? Just like chickens and metaphysics...

It's always tit for tat. The so-called settlers tend to be fairly militant in their own right, and are regarded as such by many Israelis.

Of course, killing children is inexcusible. Simple as that.

Check this out it's some very interesting information about settlements by an Israeli architect. If you haven't seen the West Bank in person, this guy's guide is pretty much the next best thing, as it tries to show exactly where the settlements are and what purpose they serve.

re: It's always tit for tat.

yeah, i think that's why group membership plays such an important role in (non-)socialization. like in this case it could either be those evil, evil palestinians or those sick gunmen who opened fire in the 'burbs. it just goes to show how much the conflict has escalated such that all that matters, the only signficant description, is whether "jewish" or "palestinian" is attached to the nouns.

Long Live The Intefada against Zionists.

Well, if either side is to be believed about events in Janin's refugee camp, I'd say the Intifada is getting the shit kicked out it.

Congratulations adnanbwp. I can now completely disregard everything else you post about the Middle East. Thanks for revealing the depths of your hatred and thanks for helping to make the world just a little bit worse.

Where were you when ParisParamus was spouting his similar shit (hopefully never to return, make that 10 months!). Seems only pro-Israeli shit doesn't stink here.

shit is shit.

There are objective people on both sides of this mess, but the Palestinian ones are usually labeled "collaborators" and killed. Israel has Gush Shalom, which is a major thorn in the side of the Israeli government. Any hope for a Palestinian peace movement seems to end up shot in the head and hung from a lamppost for conspiring with Jews.

I remain convinced that the strategic goal of Hamas was the cultivation on both sides of such a virulent hatred that complete segregation or elimination would be the only solutions. To borrow a very tired phrase, the terrorists* have already won.

Or maybe he had just previously read this comment where you say:
I for one support any and all attacks against IDF and occupant settlers.
No point in trying to play coy now.

Indymedia got the tone about right: "Gunmen kill three Israeli land thieves, plus one future land thief."

boaz: it's crap like that which is making me re-consider everything I thought I believed since Sept 11.

boaz, I mentioned you in MetaTalk, if you're interested. Your last comment disgusts me to an extent I can't begin to explain. I truly hope you gain perspective one day. I do, because otherwise your arrogant idiocy will only lead your life to a hell I don't want to imagine. Thank you for making me sick to my stomach. Have a great night.

Well, there's a resonable chance that the girl may have left the setlements when she grew up.

The major diffrence between this action and that of the IDF is that the IDF is an offical government agency, and these dudes are just some random terrorists.

So Indymedia's ascerbic comments are unacceptable, but the endless MeFi anti-Palestinian comments are acceptable? We've had plenty of messages where the deaths of Palestinians is celebrated, where the atrocities of the Israeli's are pardoned, where tolerance and understanding are absent. And theres not been quite the same reaction to those posts, as there are to the anti-Israeli ones --- all of which I am quite certain are intended only to provide a mirror for us to see the hypocracy.

Actually the correct mirror, adnanbwp, would be:

"it's a tragedy when civilians die, but I don't understand why Israelis purposefully place their children in settlements built on stolen land when they know they will be in the line of fire. Don't they care about their own children?"

However even that cannot be considered an accurate mirror, because at the very least Israeli soldiers have a valid pretense in hunting terrorism. Of course, the reality is that both sides are rife with hatred and it may not even matter that the Israeli army is able to give an understandable face to their revenge attacks, in the end neither side is doing anything productive for their causes.
