Unlikely Allies Bound by a Common Hatred. "Herr von Laden is an example for our children." The bridge between radical Muslims and the neo Nazis in Europe and the United States. In 1991, German neo-Nazis tried to form a "Condor Legion" to fight alongside Iraqis against the U.S.-led international coalition. More recently, members of the European far right have journeyed to Baghdad to express solidarity with Saddam Hussein.

What is so funny about these asses is that they find brotherhood with the Muslim fundies and yet hate immigrants to Germany, no matter what their background...oh, well, the godly and the godless in one big pot, stewing over all the rest of the world that seems to be doing fine till they have to screw things up....

Unlikely Allies Bound by a Common Hatred.
not that unlikely. Muslims served in the Waffen-SS during W.W. II.

Muslims served in the Waffen-SS during W.W. II.

Muslims also serve in the US Armed Forces, and most armies on earth. What's your point?

Southern Poverty Law Center's last print issue wrote about this phenomenon. I wonder if the Semitic Arabs know that, technically, the Aryan Nazis would rather if they were dead.

Ah well, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

Kevs: I'm not sure what you mean. I think the "Racialy sensitive" folks would prefer that people "stayed where they belonged" (and of course, white people belong on north america... right...)

I think their goal is the ilimiation of 'jews' rather then 'semetic people'. But who knows.

So, a bunch of neo-nazi's are hanging out and saying that they "agree with the tactics of ", and may be- "allying themselves" with extremist arabs. How do we know that they are not just taking advantage of the publicity for their own purposes? How do we know that the Post is not being used to further the agenda of the extremists on both sides of the coin without their knowledge?
In contradistinction to the main thrust of the article, the article also states in a few measly phrases that this type of an alliance is an "unnatural bond" that there is no way any alliance between these two groups could ever last. This, I believe, is probably the most accurate point expressed in the whole article.

If you have ever met and confonted neo-nazis, which I have; to my dismay and at the expense my head. You would know that this is probaly just a clever ruse to get publicity and increase their profile and membership. In essence, semmi you and the Washington Post have unwittingly aided them in that purpose or you are helping yourself to a little propaganda that serves your own purposes, Israel's and the Post's.

My questions are: Why is this running in the Post now? Why the attempt to connect the two groups in the media recently ? Isn't extremist violence in any form repugnant? So that being said , is their really a need to connect muslim extremist's and neo-nazis mentally among the minds of a certain class of people? Is it because Israel and many of it's citizens have a belief that the Palestinians are the new Waffen SS and that Europe is out to commit another Holocaust? Why? IS this a real fear? Or is it propaganda to justify the latest military action by the Israeli's? I really want to know.

I have a feeling it is not for the purpose of educating us or out of the desire to satisfy the curiosity of some of our posters but instead I feel it is for the purpose of demonizing Europe and the Palestinians. So I have to ask- Is this all just a propaganda campaign? -So us Americans can say to ourselves "look at all those crazy nazi's in Europe and in the Muslim world picking on poor little Israel". Thus insuring that the U.S. and it's citizens will continue to support Israel no matter what. Even if the Israeli government and it's military violate moral principles and values most human beings hold dear and cherish ?
Even going so far as to sacrifice their lives for them.
Is this all to guarantee that this poor little nation- Israel supposedly chosen by God and named as such after Jacob and his offspring were renamed Israel By God after Jacob had a wrestling match with the Creator a few thousand years ago, that has the most powerful nation on the earth's full backing and the 4th most powerful military of it's own on the earth continues to be favored by the U.S. and it's citizens?
That this poor little victimized nation- Israel- that has just carried out a succesful military campaign using high tech weapons against a very poorly equipped group of refugees will continue to recieve billions of dollars of aid from us and our all important vote in the U.N?

Why all the whining and kvetching by Israel and it's apologist's? Is it because all horrible deeds need to be obscured by a cloud of lies? What is your motivation for posting all of these articles semmi? Do you have some beef with muslims and arabs? Do you work for the Israeli government?

This is also not to mention the possibility that the U.S has an almost absolute power to do what it wills on the globe and while we have this awesome power we have a right wing government of our own that has among it's membership, persons who may have have had some connection to the third reich or possibly have connections to neo-nazi's themselves currently. So those in our own government who have certain tendencies to promote narrow world views are exempt from the same criticism our press has for the extremists in Europe and in the arab world.
For example one of the most powerful politicians in our own country- Tom Delay basically believes and states that the Christian world view is the only one that guarantee's God's favor and it is the oly right world view.
Why doesn't the Post bring this up and illuminate his propensity for totalitarianism?
I don't know and that is why I ask these questions . My feelings and sense could be wrong. Please correct me if I am.

It just seems somewhat strange to me .
It also seems that the poster of this article (semmi) has a bone to pick with muslims and arabs in general because every single one of his/her postings I have seen recently is an attempt to promote an us/them attitude concerning muslims and every one else. I may be wrong about this. Please correct me if I am wrong semmi.

One of the things I can say absolutely is: that I don't buy the Washington Post's, Israel's, the neo-nazi's or the extremist arab's propoganda one bit. I am getting sick of all this whining by the powerful and their apologist's. If one has power and one acts justly there is no need to make excuses and to play the victim.

Finally, in reference to one of the the central premises of the article-
Just because someone says that they agree with the actions of someone else it does not mean that they are allied with that person. The means that violent extremist's agree with and may use may be the same but I am sure the ends that neo-nazi's and muslim extremist's envision are very different. So I believe if one is to make these type of suppositions ( that the muslim extremist's and neo -nazi's are forming alliances) one must present concrete proof before I and I hope others will ever believe it to be true. Either way, if the suppostion's are true or not I trust that most of us do not agree with either of the two groups vision for the world and we will fight each group singularly or as an alliance until the earth is rid of those who hate and wish to impose their will on others. However I fear that those who hate equally on the other side are grasping at straws to demonize whole groups by association and are in essence muddying the water with their own hate and desire to impose their will on the rest of us. Which, in the long range, could damage the resistance to all forms of fascism, authoritarian philosophy and totalitarianism.

There was close cooperation between Communists/extremist leftists and muslim terrorists some decades back (think Baader-Meinhof etc.).

People cluster with those with whom they have something in common. In this case, clearly, the ties that bind are hatred of "the Other" and the usual addiction to the gathering and exercise of power.

The article from allafrica.com makes a series of accusations without concrete proof or citation.

There is one citation in the whole article.

Is this supposed to be the tie that binds neo-nazi's to arabs?

if only this type of analysis were more common, we'd have less sheep and more shepards.
the (communist) russians sold synthetic diamonds to (apartheid) south africa during the 80s, politics/trade makes for strange bedfellows. career polititions may not be concerned with policy, only success.
