RIP John Entwistle One of the all time great rock and roll bands is down to two members. *sigh*

The Who were one of the only bands left from the 60s and 70s who hadn't become an embarassment (see: The Rolling Stones)
The bass riffs on The Real Me will always be some of my favorites. I'm not normally one to get upset when celebrities die but why did it have to be him?

Hey, there's no reason to get defensive. This was a pretty blatant double, don't you think? It's not like the description of the previous FPP was vague or misleading, it had John's name right at the beginning.

However, I heard nothing about this until this morning. I saw nothign on the news about it last night. Not until I came into work this morning did I hear about it. It did not occur to me that it was posted at 3:00 PM yesterday. As far as I know it was today's news.
My point is, go ahead and point out a double post, if that's your thing, but why must people always be assholes about it? Might as well add a nanny-nanny-boo-boo.

At least what bondcliff dbl posted DESERVED IT.
A bandmember from one of the premeir bands in Rock history has passed away, on the eve of a big tour. Makes me think of Zeppelin in '77. Gets me choked up too.
I say triple post it. This is an event.
I want to cut out of work (like I did in school) and go spend the day listening to tunes and throwing a frisbee (and other things deemed acceptable and fun during my teenage years) but must be here at work ;-(
It is Friday, as pointed out earlier in the thread, so keep a cool head, get through the day, AND CRANK SOME TUNES THIS WEEKEND!!!

Oh this introduces a whole new hierarchy! When, God forbid, Tom Waits dies or Texas finally becomes independent, nothing less than sextuple posting will do.
"Single post" will hereafter be known as denoting a sad-sack event, like a re-run of Rin-Tin-Tin or a slight change in Jose Cuervo's logo. ;)
