found via loren @ underachievers [a beautiful & unique weblog] who was given the link by me (: -- and i heard about it on your favorite radio program, and mine. [for your attribution fiends out there]

here's an excerpt:
I graduated from law school in 1985. However, I didn’t pass the bar in Massachusetts until 1991. The delay is due to the fact that I took the New York and Texas bar exams twice and flunked both times. But then again, I didn’t really study for them either.

Well, he's candid, gotta give him that. Can't say I'm especially happy about anyone running for office who hasn't at least done some LSD, but you have to take what you can get, I suppose.

Wow. I'd vote for him.

Unless, of course, he missed something. :-)

It's worth noting that everyone thinks he's doomed, as he's running against Ted Kennedy (and his drunk driving and restraining order history prevents him from bringing up Teddy-boy's fabulous history, although I think he's classier than that anyway); he started out looking like a golden boy candidate for the Republicans--a successful, pro-choice African American businessman--but now I think they've pretty much written him off.

Still, I heartily approve of goofs running for Congress. And he's a Brown alum, to boot, IIRC.

This is also the same guy you may have heard about, who was conducting a radio interview by cell phone until:
[strange sound]
Uh ... somebody just hit me. I've been in an accident.
[interviewer:] I'm in new territory here ... I don't know what to do.
[candidate:] Well, obviously the interview is over ...
