A little (much-needed) comic relief:
Man wearing cooler on his head tries to hold up store.
What's your theory as to what the hell he was thinking?

See, I kinda like this guy:

"Um, I've got my pellet gun with me. I could rob this store, yes sir! Don't have a ski mask, but this styrofoam cooler will do..."

I would say that it's pretty clear he wasn't thinking.

No wonder he performed as the Unknown Comic all those years.

This guy is to crime as Ann Coulter is to right wing ideology.

Here's more.

See, just look at the look on his face. I bet when he got caught he mumbled something like, "Aw, rats... I can't do anything right!"
In a voice like Eeyore, no less. I feel kinda bad for him...

I'm sure they picked him up because he has an obvious case of "cooler hair", which is like "bed head", but from the cooler, you know.

He was clearly distraught over the implications of America invading Ira ..... just kidding! You didn't really think I was going there, did you?

quonsar - brilliant comment!

Worst ... Robbery ... Ever.

Nah, in my little country (NL) a man entered the post office (also a bank), said he was armed and wanted money. He also wanted 40 million euros to be transferred to his bankaccount and gave the personel his bankaccountnumber. Which made it quite easy for the police to find and arrest him.

How about a Man-or-Astroman playing guitar with a burning helmet on his head? (I couldn't find a pic of him with the burning television on his head, which would have been much better.)

Bill and Ted were obviously more prescient than anyone today would be willing to admit.

Whic brings us, perhaps inevitably, to the burning question: Who is Buckethead?

Buckethead is the masked, inverted KFC bucket wearing, "mutant guitar virtuoso" that stunned audiences during Primus's set at OzzFest '99, toured the world with Praxis and GR2, and graced many a movie soundtrack/score...There has been much speculation as to the identity of Buckethead. We do know that he was raised in a chicken coop by chickens.

Aha! Buckethead lives at 3212 Jefferson St. I used to live at 1232 Jefferson St. But in a different city. Coincidence? Probably. But, Aha!

If this fellow were attacked by a tiger, that cooler could have saved his life (just say 'no' to Flash popup) -- if he'd faced the cooler to the back of his head. That would have been smart.

More stupid criminals (get a load of the guy who showed his ID so he could steal a bottle of Scotch).
More here.

Not to denigrate quonsar's wit, but the "cooler heads prevail" pun was used in the "Here's more" link posted by interrobang... in the post before quonsar's.
