Brawny Man Finalists In the most tremendously important link of the day, the time has come for the public to select who will be the one and only Brawny man. The field has been narrowed down to several finalists. Which one will it be? Whose pecs will reign supreme?

In other news, Carlos Oissubke holds a press conferences to reassure everyone that he is *not* gay. He just likes paper towels.

Is anyone else bothered by the extra email confirmation to add a vote? I don't think it's ballot-stuffers they should be worrying about in this contest - surely Vivolo can wipe up the competition.

Bah! None of them look like Kenny Rogers! This contest is fucked already.

He just likes paper towels

For some reason, that disturbs me far more than the thought that you might be gay.

Oh, and am I the only one that thinks that selecting a Brawny woman would probably have a lot more impact and send sales through the roof?

I think this thread has found its purpose. Nominations, everyone?

Stan: Their current TV campaign involves a "brawny" arm transplanting itself on a woman cleaning her kitchen, as it seems to take over a la Mickey Mouse and the magic brooms.

Always looked weird to me.

Poor Oissubke... he's still in the closet, next to the vacuum cleaner and the paper towels... "Oh!" says Oissubke, "Paper towels... I like paper towels!"

Why would a brawny woman have a greater impact and sell more? I don't get it.

My vote goes to the Stephens guy, btw, but only if he loses the glasses. Might get caught in the trees, ya know.

My wife picked the guy all the way on the right. Coulda sworn she'd pick one of the others. If anyone here can figure dames out, let me know.

Whoa. All but one of them is a firefighter, paramedic, or firefighting paramedic--and three of them make reference to Sept. 11. Hero whores. (The Brawny people, not these guys, who I'm sure are all fine human beings...)

Any advertising wonks want to tell me why they want an age before you vote? Will the winner over te over 50 crowd tour nursing homes?

I clicked each age before voting and found that after you click "17 and under" you get a cookie to stop you from voting.

"We're sorry; you must be at least 18 to vote" becuase the future of all mankind shouldn't be left to mere children.
