I don't know about any of you, but after weeks of politics, I am in dire need of a little light-heartedness. Party down with me to one-t, a cool music video with great artwork! Or if that's a little too edgy for you, maybe a good old-fashioned super orgy porno party is more your style. Not really in a party mood? Well, don't let politics get you down, stay loose, stay cool, and just be sure you don't ride the fence.. quicktime files, crank up the volume, and not really risque but probly not work safe.

for some reason, after seeing super orgy porno party video, i had this song from Home Movies stuck in my head...

FREA-KY OUT-TIE!

I love that first one, sorta reminded me of the video for Changed my Mind by Lyrics Born. (Animation by Shynola who are best known for the Radiohead blips, but should be best known for the super awesome Junior Senior video, which cracks me up every time i watch it.)

Ride the fence

It's like Keith Haring and Spike Lee got together and decided to produce an episode of School House Rock.

super orgy porno party!
geez, that song brings back memories... (get your mind out of the gutter!)
on my 21st birthday we accidentally left that song on repeat on full volume. went out to a pub, got home at 2am to find the po-po outside our house, requesting that the music be turned down. we originally clued in when we were 2 blocks from home and wondered where the music was coming from.

it's one of the more obnoxious songs that one can can force upon the people in the other half of a semi-detached house :^)

That One-T video reminds me of the absolutely adorable new video "Sweetsmoke" by Mr. Scruff of Ninja Tune Records. The animation is all based on drawings from Mr. Scruff himself, who is apparently quite fond of pies.

PURELY PSYCHOSOMATIC

The Avalanches rock. I'm usually an alt-country type, but damn that album's fun.

Those are some fabulous links, is there any sites out there that just have links to small name bands with cool flash videos. Hell, you load them up randomly one after the other and it'd beat the crap out of MTV any day (of course that's not saying much anymore).

Wow, I am glad you guys enjoyed these links and since you were all so sweet to me, I guess I won't jump off a bridge just because I despise and fear our new national overlords. And thanks to all who added to the thread with even more great clips....atom128, I loved "Move Your Feet" from Junior Senior, and Down10, Sweetsmoke is very cool. And as for Purely Psychosomatic, effugas - well that surreal gem is in a category of its own - just the kind of truly demented thing I love.

KnitWit, that was a good analogy for Ride the Fence - it's worth a trip to click through to their main site - much cool stuff there. (btw - love your blog, - great look to it, and you have a wiki, neat.)
