False Alarm?

False Alarm? This news item just p[osted suggests that an al Qaeda guy who said there would be a dirty bomb attack in one of three major cities did not pass the polygraph test he was later given and that much of the high alert was based upon his story, though alert still stands.

seriously, my big concern about the whole alert thing is it will be become like the boy who cried wolf. if the shit ever does go down, no one will pay attention to the alerts anymore.
