I assume dhartung meant "astroturf" in terms of a corporate ad campaign made to look like an independent protest -- "artificial grassroots".

This site is funny as a gag, I doubt it isn't one. Frankly this anti-cellphone stuff is pretty weak. Instead of getting mad at the cellphones you should get mad at the people who don't know human decency and use the phone at inapproriate times, or causes a hold up somewhere, like in line at a register. (Oh and I love "astroturf".)
