Who is Suze ... and why does she keep bothering us? Every night on PBS ... where did this person come from and why all the air time?

This post was deleted for the following reason: dunno if the link is all that interesting.

She came from Berkeley, CA, and she's a ... um ... well, I don't want to say something that will hurt her appeal among the middle-America PBS crowd. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

Whoops, that previous comment should be attributed to me, msacheson, not my wife, aacheson, who was logged in. I didn't realize it. But she would probably say, or at least think, the same things about Suze Orman.

I know she was an investment type with a big brokerage firm (a career choice based on seeing her father die while running into a burning building to rescue the cash register -- from then on "money was more important than life"). Now she's into the feeling good about it. Yikes.

well, all i know is she has shown up on the cable news networks here and there, and i'm sorry, but she comes off as damn pretentious to me. it's just a little too "high and mighty" for my tastes.

she did seem to come out of nowhere.

Suze, and the like , come from the same source. So watch out, Metafites, he could be next!

Suze Orman reminds me of a hyper Cynthia Oti, who was a up-and-coming talk radio host at KSFO in San Francisco.

I enjoyed her show much more than Orman who always seems to be shouting things and is a little to touchy-feely for me.

Unfortunately, Oti was on board Alaska Flight 261 three years ago.

Her financial advice may or may not make sense...but I just can't get past her accent, enunciation, pronunciation, inflection, etc...basically, listening to her talk makes my ears bleed.
