Too bad there are so many 'no picture available', like how can they not have a picture of a Gameboy?

Can't agree with the "don't make them like they used to" statement, McFarlane toys puts every eighties action figure to shame.

No dinobots!

Grimlock smash!

Just kidding, thanks for the link. It may not be an authority on any one toy make, but it's a broad and goodly list. Oh the hours I spent staring at the department store catalog toy pages, drooling over these very hunks of plastic.

They certainly don't make them like they used to in some cases. When I was a kid i had an all-black, to-scale .45 Magnum that shot wee plastic pellets. Something similar would probably be harder to get than a real gun, nowadays.

While I like McFarlane toys, they're not very posable or durable(they're more like teeny plastic statuettes). As a result, they're pretty useless for kids that actually want to PLAY with them. They look much better on the shelf than old GI Joes though, that's true.

What no top trumps? What is childhood without the bizarre and malicious oneupmanship of top trumps?

Child a "Erm, Escort Cosworth, top speed 130mph."

Child b "Ha! Lambourgini Diabolo!! Top speed 200mph!"

Child b snatches card from hapless child a

A bit more 'in yer face' than 'I ownz j00" on IRC don't you think?

I didn't see a Pogoball on the list. Anyone else have one of those?
