I think this is a fantastic link, srboisvert, and I don't care who knows it!

But I don't understand what it is supposed to do. I read the FAQ, but how does it keep me informed about my government? Just seems to have basic biographical information.

The java download pops up an alert if there's any activity on a particular subject chosen to monitor. If an alert is selected another window pops up and lets you view C-span, etc.

Nice but looks to need some refinement.

what everyone else said! thanks!

I wish it acted more like a clipping service tho--where when you clicked on a person's name, you got every single quote and mention in all sorts of press and official docs, and not just C-span.

Hmmm. Could be a honeypot to catch medling activists.

Maybe I'm just spooked by the fact they chose to emphasize the point that they had my IP address by listing it on the page.
