The couple had been married for 37 years and had no children. Why are we not surprised?

So this man is showing to the world that sex is the most important thing in his life, above love? How nice! But why do people stay in such relationships, if not for love? If they had been married for 37 years, and had no children, isn't it safe to say that sex (or lack of it) would have come up at least once in the past, and this was not just a surprise attack? And what about the underlying issues, for example her reasoning for not having sex - one can only hope that the whole tale will come to light one day. For now? He's a cruel and selfish man. (IMHO, naturally)

I'm confused quonsar ... if people decide not to have children, it'll end up in murder?

Well, alan, that would be twisting it! It was just an (admittedly in poor taste) off the wall comment - of course they had no children - they had no sex!
