the controls are a bit tricky. I suggest you play it with your browser in full screen mode. posted by crunchland at 11:58 AM on August 30, 2003
A bit? damn if I can't hold one of the weapons long enough to use it. But I love this guy's work... posted by Busithoth at 1:19 PM on August 30, 2003
That's awesome, but it needs to capture the mouse or something. I kept screwing up because my mouse would leave the window (even in fullscreen)...grrrr... posted by thebabelfish at 1:54 PM on August 30, 2003
Completely awesome. I wouldn't call the violence excessive, more PG-rated. posted by Ryvar at 3:00 PM on August 30, 2003
I would love this gave more if it was even remotely playable. The graphics and concept are highly addictive, but why for all the wonderful ways Flash has improved hasn't there been a better way made to make mouse response control?
It's the same as that "Defend the Castle" game... they made this beautiful game that has the worst controls ever. posted by XQUZYPHYR at 3:54 PM on August 30, 2003
Worst controls ever.
Flash is cool and all, but when it comes to input response it's still on the same level as Java was in '99. posted by spazzm at 6:01 PM on August 30, 2003
Nice idea, appalling execution. If the mouse support in flash is really this broken, don't use it. posted by inpHilltr8r at 6:02 PM on August 30, 2003
yes, i too tried to find it addictive, but the controls confounded me. posted by sharpener at 6:36 PM on August 30, 2003
If they doubled the mouse sensativity there'd be no problem. posted by Veritron at 9:33 PM on August 30, 2003
Fiddle about in Experiment mode for a while and there's not much problem. Playing the 'Story mode' though, it's pretty fortunate there's no 'lives' as being overpowered by 10 guys with automatic rifles and grenade launchers when all you have is a baton is a bit unfair. posted by knapah at 5:27 AM on August 31, 2003
Especially when that baton is either down by your side or behind your head, useless to you... posted by Busithoth at 8:27 AM on August 31, 2003
