Friday Flash Fun.

Not many sites have a high "gee-whiz-neato!" factor anymore. But this one sure does. Can anyone read Hangul to let us know what the site is all about? Or is it better to just let your imagination run with it?

Hmm, for me it loads, then just stops with the pulsating logo, I think I'm missing something. Does the same in all my browsers.

For me it loaded, gave me the three little guys, who are vastly entertaining (especially the little cossack dance) on mouseover. Then the little "Loading" icon appeared, and nothing new happened for five minutes or so (on a T1). When I tried to back out, I found my browser (IE 6) locked up. Anybody get the thing to work past that point?

It took SO LONG for me to load on my home DSL, but I've seen it before - from what I remember, the playing with the three characters was it, soyjoy. Can anyone tell me if there was more?

DSL + Mozilla...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The faint SKIP hotspot intro looks very inviting. Wait - Cute!

After spending thirty minutes getting it to work, I didn't encounter any Hangul... except this does confirm my suspicions that Korean Flash Animators are one of the most talented and creative people ever.

So MeFi just had an outage of a couple hours, right? I think we know the cause of that, Officeslacker...

Yep, Gee Whiz is what I think when a 'Normal' versus 'full screen' button loads a FULL SCREEN anyway! Left foot forward, now right foot forward, now left foot forward, now right...

You people with your fancy broadband are so impatient. I'm on dialup, so did my usual download-in-the-background-until-you've-forgotten-it's-there-then-be-totally-startled-by-the-sound-effects thing. Worked fine. (Mozilla, OSX, if anyone's counting.) I think the problem is that it starts playing before it's finished downloading, so what looks like a lot of dead ends will get interesting if you leave it sit long enough.

And holy WOW is it impressive when it finally arrives. soyjoy, the cossack dance is nothing; try clicking on one of them. And there's lots more than those three (each of them sort of, uh, inflates into a menu system; also a fourth guy drops down who leads to all sorts of inexplicable stuff. Me, I liked "Piggy the Fusion Pig.")

If you're getting stuck, try right-click rewind, right-click play, and for god's sake don't touch that 'skip' button. Seriously, this one's worth the wait. Excellent link, officeslacker!

Holy shit!

That worked a lot better than this morning. Lots of stuff I had tried then (including, ahem, clicking) now works. I wonder if there was a network problem on their end or mine.

Anyway, Officeslacker, thanks - I take back what I said.

Hey sojoy, no harm no foul! Glad you gave it a second chance, it's sure worth the wait.

I turned my 6 year old son on to this. Generated about 30 "awesomes" in less than 5 minutes. Thanx!

It was pretty amusing indeed. Liked the wings best.

whoa, the green guys who turns into a chameleon with a drippy menu-toungue is cool, and so's that little fellar that can turn into a blue house. Nice, and weird in a good way!

That's fantastic. The main screen with the mouseover-action menu guys has about 12 megs of info to download before it's finished. And then it's crazysexycool all the way.

Very cool, but Jakob Nielsen would have apoplexy over that navigation, which makes it even cooler ;-)
