Man dies after wife crushes testicles

Following a disagreement over her husband's spending habits, an enraged Ethiopian mother of five refused to give him his dinner. Her husband was so angered by this affront that he tried to beat her. In the melee that followed, the wife grabbed and twisted his testicles, causing serious damage. The man was so embarrassed after the incident that he declined to seek treatment for the injury and died days later.

More power to her. Bastard should have listened. ;)

Sounds like a great marriage. Married to a drunk who spends all the $ on booze and beats her when she stands up for herself. And she hates him so much she hurts him in his most sensitive area.

What a gruesome way to die though, I'd imagine!

Not the testicle police!!

Err, wait...

aacheson - having been raised by good feminists who taught me it's never ok, and never funny, to physcially abuse a woman, I'm always irritated by women who take delight, however momentary, in turnabout. Come now.

I know you didn't mean any harm by it, but would a winky-face be enough mitigation for my saying something like "bitch probably deserved it" in a discussion about a man who'd killed his wife?

Possibly, scarabic, if the man had been acting in self defense. Hell. It might even work without the winky face, then.

Note that this woman was acting, in my opinion, in self defense.

Well taken. She certainly defended herself well. But do we need to be glad she marred & killed him?

I'm not glad about this at all, and I actually fail to see the point of this FPP, to tell you the truth. People hurt each other every day. Why is this particular incident important (aside from general humanitarian concerns)? Because the word "testicles" is involved? If she had stabbed him in the kidney, would this be newsworthy, or just another domestic homicide?

Anyway, I'm going to find out what all this frog marching is about.

Uh.. how exactly does this cause death?

OK, I got an email from a non-member who answered my question:

"He may have died from testicular torsion (http://my.webmd.com/content/healthwise/28/7060). The testicle may have died and led to blood poisoning."

The man was so embarrassed after the incident that he declined to seek treatment for the injury and died days later.

She didn't kill him, his failure to seek medical attention did. All she did initially was try to send him to bed without his dinner. His violence and pride are what killed him. That's what makes this a FPP, jokeefe. If he had been injured almost anywhere else, he would have sought help, and then it would have only been domestic abuse, not homicide.

Nope, have to disagree with you there. Now granted, I'm not sure this case deserves a beavis and butthead "heheh, they said testicles" reaction, but I do think that in many cases women have the right to respond. And in some cases they are justified, in my opinion in using, lethal force. And were this a discussion about the ethics of lethal force in reaction/retaliation for attack, I'd blather on about it.

But it's not. This is a post about how some guy died because some woman twisted his daddy biscuits into a knot and he was too proud to get it checked.
