I had that Sesame Street set. Spent many hours playing with it when I was young. : )

Can't say I've had any dreams about it though!

Man, sorry anastasiav, but that slowloading bland whatever did not make me dream happily. To each his or her own, of course.

Nice use of shadows...

and I fully support any scene in which Lady Elaine Fairchild gets beaten down. evil witch... tormenting my nighmares with her devil boomerang

Sorry!
Dew's beautiful "Happiness is a Dream of Fisher Price" photos would normally be here, but this host has limited bandwidth, and someone posted a link to this page on Metafilter. After that happened, the network connection became unusable.

Man, that was fast.

Rats.

Well, that's it then. I've personally been responsible for killing two sites via MeFi in two weeks. I guess I'll just need to start posting cnn.com, yahoo, and onion links from now on.

Or you could put up a Mefi-mirror out of your own pocket.

I liked this. It is bizarre and funny. A good Meta link, even if it died at one time.

Keep your tongue firmly planted in your cheek Anastasiav. I've learned it makes venturing through MeFi more enjoyable, if you don't take it too seriously. People may at times take you too seriously, or not seriously enough, and the vice might be versa, but just don't take the general "itness" of the whole thing seriously. Share what you find interesting and novel, and let the critics fall where they may.

That being said, I found your link mildly amusing, but then at the bottom of the page, I saw this and the reminder was a bit disturbing. I was glad when those billboards finally left my downtown skyline about a year or so ago, and it's kinda strange that God's got marketing specialists aiming at a younger demographic. That's been around for awhile too. Gives me the creeps, but then considering the hits that Christianity has taken in recent years, to survive in the 21st century I guess a Public Relations Department is a necessary evil.

It's just weird that's a banner ad at the bottom of a page about cute toys being used in curious, artistic ways.
