Those are real? Seriously? Would it be bad if I attached a handle to one and used it as a Swiffer?

[Be sure to follow the "home" link at the bottom of the page for the full story and more glorious angora bunnies.]

My cat coughed up one of those just yesterday.

So that's what dust bunnies look like.

Those things are going to eat all the Quadro-Triticale.

Why did they dress the bunnies up in bunny costumes?

Hmm, methinks Darwin's survival of the fittest may have passed these live pillows by.

And I'd doubt they taste good, like a gamey sort of veal maybe. I bet they don't get much hopping in very often.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes,
They've got those hoppy legs and twitchy little noses.
And what's with all those carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, bunnies, it must be bunnies!

But can they balance pancakes on their heads?

This breed requires a lot of grooming. Although you can get away with once every couple of weeks if you keep them as pets, show rabbits will need weekly care. Given they can live 10 years or more, that's a lot of bunny brushing.

I'm guessing these bunnies have fur that gets turned into sweaters....but that last pic....for some reason reminds me of a spider....maybe it's the teeth appearing underneath all that fur.

(I've made sweaters using Angora wool. It really is wonderful stuff. Light and sooooooo warm.)

The number one cause of tribble-rabbit death? Swallowing their own hair. (Scroll to "woolblock" section.)

Who woulda thunk it?

I'm having trouble getting over the impression that there are cats under there. I've seen massively furry cats before, but this tribble-rabbit thing is new to me.

Now I can see what Anya from Buffy was on about:

"Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes,

And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, bunnies it must be bunnies!
...or maybe midgets. "

Equally fluffy'n'strange -- pictures of cavies!

My favorite is the Texel, as its fur resembles my hair, but also check out the Silkie Satin, and the Coronet, which looks like it just came from a greaser pool hall.

Or even fluffier'n'stranger: the Peruvian. It's like a living hair extension.
