No. Richard Perle should be exposed to sunlight.

I love that he has now stepped up his involvement with the forces of evil to such conspicuous heights as being caught in a scandal with a guy named Lord Black.

Pure evil, but so well spoken.

He really is involved in every single corrupt thing going, no? (I'm just waiting for his Michael Jackson connection to come out) And this is an interesting read on him and the war and his Trieme Partners.

"Hey, how're you doing? How's Jill? The kids? Great. Great. Italy was great. Good weather, wine, you the - the usual shit. OK - business. I Love your story. Love it. Love it. Really...........Uh, You know it needs a little work. A little work.... OK, to be perfectly honest, it's lacking some key elements....that Perle guy, the villain - OK, he's good. But where's the hero? And where's the tits and ass? You gotta have babes. At least one. - you know that, what're you, some punk-ass kid? C'mon - you know this business. And a happy ending too. I need a happy ending. And sex it up. More than a little. A lot. This political-industrial complex payola shit, it doesn't hold people's attention - you know that. It's not personal, you know that. I love your work, I read it before bed. I keep it by the toilet. But this is movies. Movies, jack...so why are you giving me this piece of crap screenplay? Can't you make it kind of like The Matrix? Robots or something? And some product placement....OK, Boeing - so you got some. Investors are gonna want more. And think basics. Basics. You've gotta put in a girl, and a hero, and a happy ending. Period. Otherwise I can't sell this to investors. You're a great writer and all, but this is Hollywood, and that's what it takes. Sex and a happy ending. Give me that and I'll give you a winner. Give me that and I'll sell your movie and make us both rich. Don't give me that - no movie. Capische? OK, deal. Oh, and uh, tell Jill that Yvette wants to fly out with her for Sundance. Fucking Redfordistas. Well that's her thing. I bring home the bacon. OK, bye.

The "Prince of Darkness", in response to this article, called Hersch a terrorist and threatened to
sue.

He subsequently resigned as Chairman of the defense Policy Board, but remained as a member.
