The Horror of Blimps. This is just a short ROTFL funny story about a toy blimp gone bad. Brightened my day, anyway. (Thanks, Ken.)

That is hilarious! Although, if that had been me, I doubt that I would have survived the second appearance of the Evil Sinister Menace intact.

Well done! Good post for that end of the work day - beginning of free time transition. Especially considering that we had a similar scared-out-of-a-dead-sleep incident this morning (was I laughing at the story or at my own reactions this morning?) Thanks tbc.

My DragonFly Mach IIz stays in the basement, not so much for the "attack in the middle of the night" factor as the "3 year old with pointy objects" factor.

Imagine my surprise when I returned to MeFi and saw that this thread wasn't deleted for being redundant. Well, I guess a refresher once a year isn't too bad. FWIW, the previous thread was over a year ago -- 27 Feb 03.

I like toys that fly, and would have one of these blimps if I could find aerosol-can-sized helium supply in the UK. Only find tanks slightly smaller than a trailer's propane tank.

Thanks for the fun read, its hilarious.

I find it weird this guy is sleeping with his ceiling fan running.
