Project:Multiverse! AtariAge has a collection of scans of comics included with 1980's Atari console games.

I remember being really, really disappointed when Earthworld sucked. And even when I was 10, I knew the Atari Force was really gay.

Damn, I loved those comics and haven't thought of them in years. Atari force and Groo the Wanderer were the only comics I ever really got into. And I was, like, seven at the time so I didn't realize Atari Force was "really gay."

The second series of Atari Force with art by Jose Garcia-Lopez was actually pretty good, this ain't it though.

Hmm, the Atari Institute, in Sunnyvale.
Well, I lived in Sunnyvale for many years, I never found it although it looks pretty recognizable
