How do you make sippin' syrup? man i'm from HOUSTON. where screw and syrup got started. This is how you sip some drank...you go to ya hookup, pick up half a pint, pour it in a 2 liter bottle of some damn sunkist orange, get a white styrofoam cup, put some ice in it, pop in a crunk screw tape like '10' deep or another platinum hit, roll up a blunt, smoke it and sip some drank while jammin to screw. DJ Screw really would be proud.

I used to down a shot or two of codeine cough syrup to get me through the monotony of working a Safeways checkout (this was before laser barcode readers) back in the mid-80's.

I never realised I was so street.

And anyway, who cares how you take it, it's all in the effect.

A Boost for breakfast, some Ensure for dizzert . . . can we get Lil' Jon a membership here? Just someone running in yelling "OK!" would help a lot of threads.

No, AskMe is working fine. As is this board. They's all workin it out with the different shades of the recipe and the finer points of the pharmaceuticals and the actual measurements and shit. Someone asked the question and got a few different informed answers. Sall good, this how it spodsed ta work, G. Holla back

Dextromethorphan takes a few folks out of the gene pool every year. I don't think you can get codeine syrup over the counter, but DXM is there for the taking. It can off you, er get you off.

Goodness. Kids today.

See...this is the result of the war on drugs. These kids could be sitting somewhere under a tree, tripping their little brains out on acid, or smoking a joint and laughing at clouds instead of massacring the language and drinking cough syrup.

When will the government learn that people will find ways to intoxicate themselves, and it just makes more sense to tax it than fight it?

There was an excellent story on npr about this awhile back.

If you can't find cough syrup where you are you can always order some through the Adsense links at the top of the page :-)

Ban cough syrup, I say! Think of the children!

Of course, then the little buggers will start huffing gas, which has got to be some sort of terrorism, and then there'll be nothing but tears.

I happily host the entire run of an 80's punkzine called 'Tussin Up' as a memorial to its late creator, a good pal o' mine. I sure he'd be laughing heartily at this news and trying to get get me to try some sippin' syrup.

Self link not eschewed, but Google will get ya there.

% of posters on that board who are white suburban teenagers...probably what, 90-95%, minimum?

(How many real gangstas need to (a) ask how to make syrup, and (b) go to "faqs.org", for anything, let alone this? Puhleez--it's in the "Rap Dictionary" section, for chrissake.)

Not criticizing the post--just think it's funny (and sad) to see more evidence that Vanilla Ice really won.

I thought of Vanilla Ice just this morning, as I was making some fine Jimmy Dean sausage. He's a treasure, I tell you, a true American icon.

"were can i get some codeine for free"

I was going to make a snarky comment about the stupidity of sippin syrup until I remembered when I was in the Air Force and worked with a guy that who would sip syrup through is entire shift. Oh yeah, we were military police.
