The rabbit is out of the hat when it comes to frivolous genetic manipulation of living creatures. And he glows in the dark.

But what about THE CHILDREN?!?!?
Our precious precious children are getting hit by cars at night every day in this country. It's high time we did something about it, and I propose mandatory gene manipulation in all future conceptions.

We have the technology to make our children glow in the dark. We must now use this technology, so that we can reduce vehicular-impact deaths among children by 15%, thanks to the enhanced nighttime visibility of children and the mandatory installation of black-light headlights in all vehicles sold for use in the U.S.

Fifteen percent! Think of it! There is no price too high for fifteen percent. Only godless communists and psychopaths could possibly be against this new law, which I promise to enforce with brutal efficiency. Glow in the dark children. Think about it. God bless america! Support me or die, can you do any less?

I'm sure there's one of those reappearing ink pens available for that post, Baylink. :)

As for the applications of something like that, you never know. Hunters and forensic investigators use products that allow blood to glow.. (See http://www.marblearms.com/tracker.html - I'm afraid I don't know how to link here)...imagine spraying a suspect with something like that. It would make finding them easier, no?

I thought the idea was that rabbits see well in the dark, not that they're easy to see?

The foxes must be sponsoring this project.
