Animusic Just saw a video from thes folks as a between shows filler on PBS. Remember Herbie Hancock's robotic music video from the mid-80s? This is classical music but even cooler--no hands used in playing--endorsed by Jon Anderson and Alan Parsons.

I saw one of these a while back, when I got my new computer - ATI used 'Pipe Dream' for one of their demos.

The neat thing about the demo, as opposed to the video, is that you can change the camera view and look around the machine while it's making the music.

Pretty amazing - now I want to see someone build one. Forgotten Technology guy could do it with huge stone blocks.

ahhh...it's computer graphics. Not real bots playing with themselves. Cool, but...

(maybe it's AxeMe material, but wasn't there a mefi post awhileback with these really beautiful robot instruments?)
