Some folks get crazy high scores, wish you could see all the words of the winner 84 pts on a 4x4 board, sheesh

This kicks ass. Best use of simple DHTML game I've seen.

I still suck though.

Yeah, me and mathowie were neck and neck for a few games.. in the bottom 1/3 of the players.

:)

Well, that's addictive.

Some guy called "mathowie" keeps beating me ;)

Jeez, just saw "flipper" get 106 on a 5x5.

Holy Crap.

Peggy Hill would love this.

I blame you jonah for my lost afternoon.

I'd tell you how bad I suck at this game, but I just can't find the words.

Oh.

This is nice... but I thought it would be something... different.

*Oggles the web*

Am I missing something? Where does one set their name for this? Is there a log-in I bypassed?

Blatantly cheating helps.

Ah, I saw that last week. That game is nicely done.
posted by dalryaug at 11:11 AM on August 13, 2004

jacquilynne, the first page has a name box.

BTW, you can click on the board to rotate it. This might be in the instructions but I didn't read them and found it by accident.

thanks, delapohl! I just won.

As with real life boggle, it pays to go after the larger words and remember plurals, prefixes, suffixes and tenses
posted by jonah at 11:32 AM on August 13, 2004

Yeah, once I learned the cheat page the game lost its fun.

Some coworkers and I play the real game at lunch. That is fun :)
posted by terrapin at 11:35 AM on August 13, 2004

you're allowed to not use the cheat page terrapin
posted by jonah at 11:41 AM on August 13, 2004

Ugh, never got close to 20. The cheat sheet is just depressing.
posted by of strange foe at 11:51 AM on August 13, 2004

jonah: Agreed, but when everyone else is using the cheat page it becomes less of a "game."

so great. thanks!

This is fabulous, thank you! I adore boggle and can beat anyone I play against in real life, but beating others online helps me think that I am in fact a good player, not just that all my relatives and friends suck. ;)

That cheat is annoying though, my first game majcher won by over 50 points. I didn't need any cheats to win four times...
