Also, a report on the failures of the Beagle 2 Mars mission was released today, including "lessons learned". Couldn't make it fit, alas.

Speaking as someone who has The Badger as wallpaper...what the heck was that thing about anyway?

dogmatic, unless your "title" hover links aren't working somehow, nth gave more context in this FPP than most. I wouldn't be thrilled if all FPPs were like this, but I think it's definitely a humorous and well-researched example.

Yeah, the hover tags told a lot and were a Good Thing. Good post.

You mean you don't know!?

Okay, I don't know either. I have looked through the FAQ site, and I can find nothing in the InJoke web pages. So what is the joke with the 'badger' besides a song which makes me wish I was computer illiterate.

An interesting, but annoying way to post, these are labor intensive, which makes me wonder what the higher level thread is about. Anyone?

An interesting, but annoying way to post

Correction:

An interesting, inventive, highly entertaining way to post. Way to go nthdegx!

(wot no links for ASN, AK, E, or A, SNA, KE? I would, but, um, I plead family obligations!)

(The post is fundamentally different than yours of October, soyjoy; instead of obviously being many links that are variations on a theme [though well-researched indeed], it is subtly many links that initially appear to be one [annoying] link [that everyone knows about], which reveals itself upon mouse-hover to be cleverly [in my opinion] cut into discrete well-summarized component links. I know I didn't need to explain that, but your sarcastic-seeming link to your prior thread implies disagreement with mwhybark's assessment of the inventiveness of the post. I concur with mwhybark, but what do I know? I've never posted on the front page.)

Nicely done, nthdegx.

I don't know why you find it sarcastic-seeming, gohlkus. The link is there to make clear why I do agree it's an interesting, inventive, highly entertaining way to post. Obviously it's not exactly the same, but to my eyes there are more similarities than differences.

Also: Why are we whispering?
