My girlfriend and I have been playfully arguing wether or not chickens can fly for so long that I can not remember if she seriously believes they can.

I love that game! It never occurred to me to show that to my gal. As for the more serious link, I will probably hold on to that...I want to keep the argument playful. I am growing, you see.

Chickens can fly for only short periods of time, but they do get off of the ground. See the opening scence of 'City of God'.

Holy crap! Thank you for posting that ae4rv. It's actually a little unnerving....I was planning on posting an AxeMe question about Truth in Advertising to find out more about it. I hadn't even thought about the short for over a year. What a freaking strange coincidence.

thanks, centrs and VM. I'd never seen the original so had no idea it was parodying something. Did seem a rather odd way to get people to want to work, though.
