Frist Says Filibusters of Bush Nominees Must End Now that we saw the first move from the Administration, we get the Congressional Republicans response. Frist said, "One way or another, the filibuster of judicial nominees must end." Because either he thinks his party will retain control forever or has a really short memory, since his party used this tool to block many more of Clinton's nominees than the Democrats have.
