Someone, somewhere finds this to be incredibly erotic.

Unbelievably lame.

and others, incredibly depressing!

Maybe I'm warped, but this made me laugh harder than anything I've seen in months.

That is absolutely beautiful. I still know a couple bases that keep the "Hanoi Jane Urinal Target" on the urinals and for sale.

political satire just rolled over in its grave.

Honestly, how is this different from what the Swifties were already doing a year ago?

Honestly, how is this different from a Fark photoshop contest?

My favorite Jane Fonda commie moment? When she was selling those aerobic workout video tapes. Dude, she put that Engels motherfucker in his place!

Infantile, but 30% of the country eats this up. It has always been thus so.

Sorry, but seeing these truly pathetic wankers portrayed as fictional heroes was just too much outside the realm of possibility. Thank you for making me lose my lunch all over the floor . . .

Funny, but the funny is dulled by the fact that they are hero-worshipping people that couldn't be less heroic.

Wow, b3ta without the jokes. Or the skill. Or the kittens.

This is going to turn out to be the work of some autistic kid somewhere, and they you guys'll feel bad for making fun...

I just got home to find that my drunkie midget roommate has puked in his bed and passed out on it. Man, it really stinks. Those photoshope jobs evoke a similar response; kind of funny because its so ridiculous, but the attendant noxiousness kills the humor. I don't like smelling puke, and I don't like people who approve of the current administration or hero-worship its members.

I thought the hero-worship photoshoppery was heavy-handed sarcasm. I'm confused.

What dodgygeezer said, we need a bad poster linkage MORATORIUM.

? These go back to February and there appear to be over a hundred of them. If they're not sincere, they might as well be.

Just remember...it can go both ways.

Damn, it feels good to be a neocon.

I'm convinced these are absolutely sincere, and as apt an illustration of the intense idol worship that seems to flow through the veins of so many Bush supporters. It's really both interesting and just a little scary to see just how pervasive this is. And it's something I just don't understand.

I mean...sure...I people strongly Bush...but the apparent ubiquity of the idol worshipping (and, if you live where I do, you see this sort of idol worship all the time in various guises) is something that startles me...and scares me. Plus, when you consider the make-up of Bush's more rabid supporters (the religious right) this sort of thing is all the more perplexing...that whole "graven image" thing, y'know.

If this guy developed any Photoshopping talent, then maybe this site could go somewhere.

He seems a touch obsessed with the Bush twins...

Ya know to be political commentary, one would have to technically comment on the politics. This is just a literal crapload of of Bush-ish hero worship.

"Was ist daß 'baby'? Der Fuhrer never said baby!"
(The jets were my clue that he's for real. Some people really do welcome fascism. And I don't mean that in the general, tossed-off way. If you look at heroic realism and depictions of Hitler, this is the type of thing that was encouraged. Echo talon is the exact sort of person who is the backbone of any fascist state.)

Nonsense. Goebbels could spot talent. This guy's a cheap hack.

He's 100% genuine. I found the site because the guy's a marathon poster at freerepublic any time they're "debating" evolution.

Alternatively, he could be some Andy Kaufman level genius planning to unveil the fraud as soon as he gets invited to meet President Bush.

AlexReynolds writes " Nonsense. Goebbels could spot talent. This guy's a cheap hack."

Indeed. Pick a Fark PS contest at random and you'll see more skills than on that whole site. Then again I suppose that most Fark PS'ers don't masturbate as they're doing the photoshopping...
posted by clevershark at 12:39 PM on May 14, 2005

wow. those were amazingly... bad.

I believe it was the philosopher Forrest Gump who said, "Stupid is as stupid does...." Indeed. Visual politico-hagiography but not commentary.

And President Bush? Well, sir, he's got spurs that jingo, jingo, jingo.
