Exploring enron -- A breathtaking web of conspiratorial email messages. How often did Jeff Skilling email Ken Lay? How often were those emails about company business? Internal alliances? The company's allegiance? The California energy crisis? Who else was talking about it? Who wasn't? Temptingly complete with software download and MySQL tables for your own tinfoil hat explorations.

Nothing on jheer's site looks like it's hosted on geocities.

Er, second boo radley here. all this is accessible and has nothing to do with geocities. But:
The dataset here does not include attachments, and some messages have been deleted "as part of a redaction effort due to requests from affected employees".
Aw, CRAP.

It's nice to see justice done and Ken Lay now rotting in jail.

What? He's not even been charged? After how many years? And how many billions has he stashed away in the Caymans?

Gotta love our corporate government system!

Ken Lay is under indictment and goes on trial in January next year.

That's a cool site. The level of data is astounding and the connections are really neat to look at. Did anyone download the stuff and really get into it?

I downloaded the enronic program, but it seems like it requires a login and password. I've contacted one of the developers, but haven't heard back from them.
