I vowed never to work for a real estate agent ever again. I designed a great site for a realtor but due to her personal issues, she ended up letting me go for the maintenance. And now the site is disgraceful. There's nothing sadder than seeing a site you crafted turn into some ugly monstrosity because the people who replace you charge lots less but do crap.
That said, it's unwise to embarass your clients this way, even former ones. I had a client who refused to pay his bills, and wouldn't return my calls for payment, so I put a subtle watermark on all the pages that basically called the client a deadbeat. Naturally, I lost the client, along with the $12k a year service contract he had just signed.

Assuming this is a dumped guy scenario - isn't their great sue-age potential here? He's obviously set out to damage her business and I would imagine that USian's don't take kindly to that... This is a defamation suit waiting to happen, surely?

on preview: benzo8 may be right. Especially as the brokerage is clearly labeled (and slandered by association) as well on the page, and they are hardly small fry.

Better way of dealing with the situation: replace the home page with one that mentions that the site is "temporarily off-line".
It would have looked more professional anyway.

Too bad it's gone down already, I would have loved to send it to my boss. My first day on the job, he was goofing around with me, and I said with a grave face, 'a good rule to remember is NEVER piss off your webmaster.'

What does it mean to "park" a web page? And it looks like he's got an ugly page advertising his services with her name on it -- how is that so bad? I don't get it. Was there a worse page, one about her, that's now gone, and does anyone have a cached copy of it?

Oh davy, it was a scurrilous web trashing! There were zombies, drama kings, Ann Coulter, paradigms, photoshops, jonmc shout outs to Cold Chef....Truly, it was the most amazingly spiffy thing I have ever seen ever. What a pity it is lost for the world. What a pity.
