I think this is the first protest FPP that actually hits the mark fairly well and doesn't really come off as shitting on the front page (though the More Inside might, by belaboring the point).

What's not to love, its got all kinds of tension built into it (if Matt doesn't delete it then PepsiBlue for everyone, if he does then he must delete the Mouse post and the stupid MS home page post).

Though I'd just delete this one since it has the word WalMart in it and we all know WalMart is teh Evil.

Although, to be honest, this is purely a wanker post, and the MI admits as much. I haven't bothered checking out the MS post, but frankly the Apple Mouse one seems valid, mostly because every time the subject of the Mac comes up there's no shortage of idiots bringing up the single-button mouse issue.
Of course every time those same people get reminded that you can just plug any other USB mouse into a Mac, but that's another issue entirely.

I'm not digging the shape, square is just too awkward. Though I do like you can move mp3s onto it without special software (just drag and drop).

And, actually, I highly recommend Gizmodo and I4U for those who like to know what's new in the tech gadgets realm. An infinitely better place for it than MeFi. Especially Gizmodo, 'cause how can you not love a place that tells you there's a new water balloon cannon available? Lordy lor'!

Actual form factor does sometimes seem to be abandoned in the quest for pure size shrinkage. I've got a Creative Nomad Muvo Slim (is Muvo the genus? Is Slim the species? Can Creative give something less than 8 names?) and I wouldn't give up a thin, larger shape for a smaller and pokier shape.

We've had mp3 players that you could accidentally swallow for while now, if you were drunk enough anyway. I'm just happy that we've advanced to mp3 players that can be comfortably excreted at the other end. If only it didn't have corners...

It seems to me that turn-about must be fair play. Consequently, I present my first-ever PepsiBlue post. Until my interest in the MobiBlu wanes -- ie. next week -- I shall be certain to post any news regarding the MobiBlu product line. After I'm done with that, I suspect Canon digital cameras will become my fanboy hobby-horse, and I'll inundate you all with their product releases.
Point proven? Great. Matt, please delete this post as well as today's Microsoft and Apple shills. Mind you, if you're not going to get rid of them, it would be logically consistent to leave this one be.
