It's Uncyclopedia, featuring articles on sports, geography, science, history, popular culture (may be NSFW), and a host of other topics. See also: Uncyclopedia's Wikipedia entry, Wikipedia's Uncyclopedia entry, this page of templates, and Uncyclopedia's Metafilter entry.

I know which one I'll be referring to during untellectual debates.

Cool, granted, but I'm afraid this is a double post.

Yeah it's a double, but I don't mind being reminded so I can see how it has evolved. I still love that wondrous relationship between satire and truth:
A reliable way to discredit MF is to post a news story, with either of the following two comments: a) "this clearly proves that George Bush might actually be descended from apes and the Democraps are God's gift to social security"; b) "this clearly shows that the iron-fisted left is made up of irrelevant Sponge-Bob gay pants who can't face facts and are basically treasonous." Hundreds of comments follow while posts about the lack of Flash art web sites in silicon valley are lamented and deplored.
Oh, and, completely against the spirit of Wikipedia (or Uncyclopedia, for that matter), I feel compelled to inform you that *I* started the Wikipedia entry on Uncyclopedia. There.

I have seen it before too, but that was a while back when there were only a handful of entries. Looks like it's coming on nicely! The Bush entry make me laugh.

Is no one going to take the bait and add the Quonsar The Malodorous entry?

"Everyone is so fucking thrilled that Metafilter has also spawned several sister sites, such as MetaTalk, which is a forum dedicated to intimate, homo-erotic discussions of Furbies. AskMeta is another site in the Metafutile family; it mostly revolves around the eternal question: "How can I make my Furby make love to me?"

Encyclopedia Dramatica is pretty cool as well. (Incidentally, check out the filename of the second image on this entry)

Oh man, I knew about Uncyclopedia, but Wikipedias article on it is actuctually pretty hilarious in itself.

To be fair, Uncyclopedia didn't have it's own URL at the time. I forgive alphanerd. Also my FPP spawned a massive jump in entries in 3 days and it exploded, so all entries have been written many times over. Always nice place to get a chuckle.

Boy the Wikipedia article on UnCyc sure is crotchety:

Uncyclopedia, which aims to be the "encyclopedia of politically incorrect non-information", is a parody of Wikipedia. {agreed} Uncyclopedia entries are nonsensical, often with little or no resemblance to the truth. {surely you jest}

Other common themes include:
Identifying laws of science and mathematics as theories or pseudoscience, while giving credibility to unscientific beliefs.

Citing anachronistic dates and times that would cause great historical conflicts and age discrepancies, including dates that have not yet occurred.

Presenting an article as encyclopedic and breaking its established tone by reverting to a commentary or criticism.

yeesh, why don't just kill Santa while you're at it. You were done at "parody", stick a fork in it. Oh and Professor, two words: Vampire Watermelon

I might just have to change my home page from a the Wikipedia Random Article link to the Uncyclopedia Random Page.

Sorry to double dip. I tried to find prior references to it here, but had a suspicion it was too good to be true.

I've felt that way too over some deleted FPPs.
