Caution is called for.

History has taught us what happens when you invite a penguin into your home.

They put rubber gloves on their heads, steal your robotic trousers, and start a crime wave.

I was completely taken in by this web site when my husband showed it to me a few months ago. Then I searched the Metafilter archives to see if it was FPP worthy. That's when I found out it was a hoax. (I'm so gullible.)

You can really really adopt a penguin here.

(Guaranteed real wild nature like penguins living in the Falkland Islands, not zoo-ey ones)

But you can't take it home. And it's not me.
