Once the alien probes you, doesn't it become an IFO?
I'm calling bullshit. Why are there no records before the 20th century?

The conspiracy knows now shame! Notice how the UFOs have little smileys on them. They're cute! You think, "Gee, I wish the cute UFOs would come to my state." And that's when the Reptillians arrive and enslave your thoughts! Wake up, people!

The aliens show a real partiality toward Indiana & Ohio. Guess someone's got to.

So, the question is, why are aliens only interested in abducting people who live in areas where large amounts of mercury have entered the water supply?

Do any pretty lights gazed upon by a redneck in an RV count as a UFO?

I would really love to superimpose this on TrailerParkMaps.com.

I'm cynical about this, but here are the pics for you to judge for yourself.

All this pre-20th century alien evidence is getting a bit Von Daniken.

This is not useful because you have to go slowly, month by month, to find any info for a small-scale area. The designers should have thought to put in an "all months" and "all years" setting (limit the results if necessary).

"MY WIFE AND I WERE IN OUR HOT TUB OUT IN OUR BACK YARD..."I could read no further.

My own tests of the Google Maps API showed that 500 locations pinpointed on the map was no real problem for it to handle, though the icons had to be very small to make it at all readable. The large UFO icons on this map would make the map pretty useless.

My favorite:

"West Jordan, UT - Airplane-like shape hovering in sky"

I wonder what that could've been.

This is a great easy way to tell where Bill Hicks has performed.

A friend studying psychology once mentioned a study that discovered stimulation of one part of the brain caused participants to believe they had experienced a holy vision. However, in a small percentage of participants, the imnpression was instead of an otherworldly alien encounter.

I wonder if an even smaller percentage believed they had seen Elvis?

We have reached the limit of what rectal probing can teach us!

Y'all are so cynical. This is the most useful google maps interface I've seen yet. I'd much rather get an idea of when the smiling alien overlords are likely to make it to my neighborhood than just sit around peering at the roof of my house.
