An Eye for Annai is a terrific little animation, suitable for all ages. (QuickTime).

Right you are, Robot Johnny. Look at some of the other stuff on the site gang, it's all very nice.

The (real) 2.5 year old standing next to me is at this moment saying... AGAIN, Again! ...againagainagain!

Some of the work there is tremendous.
Parts of "The Miser" and images like this very much reminded me of Belleville Rendezvous which begins looking like a 20's "Mortimer Mouse" caper but turns into the most beautifully twisted and honest reflections.
That site contains a small wealth of wonderful things, thank you.

Annai is the best though, especially the band. Or maybe this is. Or maybe this.

Very cute. To nitpick, three eyes should have been on Annai's left when they're walking away at the end.

I liked it. It was like if Samurai Jack had been about congenitally deformed people.

I especially liked the part where the dude was sunbathing on the beach and then he rolled over and you could see his starfish. You don't ordinarily get that kind of realism in animation.

Also, I felt an urge to make a "Queer Eye for the Straight Annai" joke, but didn't. Please make a note of it.

My 4 year old watched it 6 times.

Reminds me of one of his favorite shows, "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." Not you're ordinary kid's cartoon - check it out if you get the chance.

Did you guys catch the small bit of "Vaders Theme" during the octupus scene? Very very cute.

That was one phallic extra eye, if you ask me.

The fact that the band played 'Jeepers Creepers' just tickled me pink. Great stuff.
