It's allegorical, I think. Just like Edward Scissorhands.

I think when you buy a domain nowadays (I haven't for several years), you have the option of anonymizing it for an extra price. This is probably an example of that and Domainsbyproxy probably forwards on contact to the owners of that domain when requests to speak to them come in.

The video is shocking. Where are the 'graib videos the govt saw, but never got out?

I think it's great that the interrogator declares him to be only a number. Numbers cannot be guilty of anything.

He looks more like a person to me, but I have no authority.

Smells like a hoax to me. Don't jump on this bandwagon. Why would a detainee be spoken to in English without a translator available? Somehow I don't think a detainee would be talking about his rights either. We'd do good not to jump on all of this.

Looks awfully staged to me.

Quite the coinkydink that the one time the interrogator does anything that gets a reaction out of the guy, his back is to the camera and you can't see what he's doing.

The time-stamp (lower right) and tape ID? (lower left) code seems a bit too blurry. But even so, the "font" seems too crisp, where you'd expect some kind of large-pixel font like you see in cop dash cams or other police tapes you see on TV.

Also, is that room carpeted? When was the last time you ever saw a police interview/interrogation room that was carpeted? Notice the floor molding too? That room looks more like an office/business room than an interrogation room. No obvious lock on the door. Looks like a plain, stainless steel knob. Also, I think you can see the middle door hinge on the right side of the door. A hinge on the INSIDE? No way, not in an interrogation room. That door is not secure at all, hence anyone left in the room could easily get out.

Never see anyone's face.

Interrogator looks to be in simple business clothes and not any kind of uniform. That means it's not an armed forces guy. CIA then? Seems a bit odd.

Recently a DVD-disc was received in the mail. There was no return address and the postmark was from Nebraska. There was a yellow sticky note with, "W2 Archive," written on it in block print. The DVD-disc had 6 .AVI files that used the Sequential Logging System time-code. The contents of the video are shocking and disturbing.

If I had a dime for every time that's happened to me...

Just wondering, for those that have watched the video, how graphic are they? I'd really appreciate some more of an explination provided in the FPP since the 10641.com site itself doesn't say exactly what the videos show, other than 'interrogations', which to me would mean some pretty graphic/nasty/bloody stuff.

video tape are you? Connoisseurs of interrogation rooms?
You have inside knowledge of torture protocol for the military? Knowledge regarding the significance of a blurry time/date stamp, the lack of a uniformed torturer? You know that someone is acting from a few seconds of bad video tape? Because the audio is clearer than the video tape you automatically assume fraud?

You know nothing.

And though I remain skeptical, if such a site did exist, I'm pretty sure the feds would get Google to suppress any meaningful results.

A person detained is not a number, only a convicted person becomes "a number". Convicted persons are usually not interrogated.

There is a reference in the dialog about "conspiring to hurt children". This doesn't sound much like the war on terror to me.

As observed, the language is too mild for reality.

Anyone track down the torrent mentioned?

I'm not taking a stand as to wether this is legit or fake, but:
Illegal torture is prefereably done in some non-descript location such as a motel on the outskirts of town.
The Abu Graib fiasco should make it clear why this is a good idea.

For the same reason none of the interrogators are shown.

The interrogation room does not need to be secure since the prisoner is never alone there, and is usually tied up.
