Remember the JCB Song? [Warning: Flash and Heart Warming Cuteness] Well they're going for a much coveted Christmas Number 1! Their single is released December 12th in the UK.
Non-UK residents may be unfamiliar with the Christmas Number 1 phenomenon - Being #1 in the music charts on Christmas Day - guaranteeing near-constant air-play and exposure. Disclaimer: Not affiliated with the band. Just sick of rubbish xmas #1s.

Quite an eclectic list.
I urge you to...?
Love the song and the vid. I'll vote for it, if that's what you're urging.

JCB
JCB,
so good I linked it twice...
I enjoyed the song, and the charming flash animation video too. Even so...

Aaaah, Turtles is having a silly quiet cry, and trying to explain to Turtlette Jr. why a cartoon could trigger such emotion, and how you can be happy and sad at the same time...
Thanks for bringing this up again (loved it the first time, too).

What a cute song. But it is disturbing to read that the Spice Girls were on that list for three years in a row.

Good thing you warned me about the heartwarming cuteness - I needed to disable my Firefox HeartwarmingBlock extension. That was great.

Sheer brilliance. I'm with the Turtle in the tear-shedding scenario, but then I always was an emotional bugger.

I was just thinking it wasn't nearly repetitive enough for #1 status when the "I'm Bruce, I'm 5 and my dad's Bruce Lee" part kicked in. But hey, any song that rhymes "B.A. Barracus" with "nunchakus" is all right in my books.

I just wish the band would update their website with tour info. They're local to me and it would be fun to see them.

This song is painfully bad. Just when you think the charts can't get any worse, someone always loves to prove you to be totally wrong.

You have no soul.
I agree with Arto, it takes a while to get going but once that chorus kicks in you're hooked. It's got me grinning like a loon :).

You have to buy the song. Aside from anything else, imagine an animated Flash video playing on Top Of The Pops on Christmas Day!

The Guardian ran an article about this song last Saturday. Aside from it being a touching and unusual song it would be great to see it use the technique of producing something good and making it available online as a technique for leapfrogging the major record labels.
