The British imagine themselves superior to Americans; film at 11.

Maybe I got the episode wrong, theres "Why America Sucks" and "Why Americas F**CKED" Why America Sucks has Bubba the love sponge in it.

Why America Sucks

This appears to be a link to a one-paragraph summary of a show I have never heard of before, with no supplementary material and editorialising in the FPP itself. I would suggest this is a good candidate for deletion.

I cant find much about it, but I just downloaded it...

Following his diatribe on why England's gone to the dogs, Francis crosses the pond to give the Yanks a piece of his mind.
Most nations consider themselves better than all other nations. Grab yourself some freedom fries and stop moaning on about it. We hate you, but we love you really.

Is there a country that doesn't suck? Just curious.

Well, after watching it (download via link in post above)..

I want to buy a segway and go get a burger.

Iron Wolf> Much as I enjoy the manifold applications of the torrent software protocol, it's probably not a good idea to link directly to a piracy website hosted overseas on a public and widely-read website hosted in America. Matt might get in trouble.

I'm willing to bet Belize might be a good candidate. That's where I'm heading when the shit hits the fan.

Ironing With Wolves: You're an angry young fellow, aren't you. Just because you can't get to see a program in your country doesn't give you carte blanche to start pirating it.

That's just typical Yank arrogance. You think you're allowed to consume or do whatever you want, and damn the consequences. You can't. Maybe you should start thinking internationally. You God Damned Okie.

Maybe I pay my tv tax in England just for that reason.

Maybe one reason America is fucked is due to the fact that many Americans don't know an apostrophe from a hole in the ground.

oop's maybe hes not american my bad

This guy crucified Britain first. There's no story here. And it sounds like you're defending segways.

Maybe the lack of any information in his user profile will lead to ambiguous attacks on his point of origin.

WTF is a wolve?

Remember how, in Teatime (or maybe Holistic) Gently would call up London pizza parlours, lovingly order one with everything, then ask to have it delivered only to be met with outraged incomprehsion? I always liked that bit.

America sucks, England sucks

That would explain why this oaf, Fulford had a previous mini-series titled 'Why Britain's Fucked' then...

Hahaha...

Haven't seen this but "The F**king Fulfords" was hilarious in a very pathetic way. See the clips on the BBC America page. Viewers comments here and here.

The guy just hates everyone, and they did a "Why England is F**ked" too, so you're kind of missing the whole point if you think this is about Brits criticising the US, but that makes this post even more funny! Keep it up, IronWolve!

Meh. Shocking post. Poorly spelled and thought out. Delete.

Even as an American living abroad by choice, I still object to lazy potshots against my country by people who only highlight their own ignorance in attacking it.

America has it's problems, sure. But, as Jon Stewart said to an audience member when he visited London last week and someone impugned America, "It sure is nice to be set right by someone from a perfect country such as yours, sir."

I have to agree with the shoddiness of this FPP. The link goes specifically to a page where it says he attacked Britain first. So it's not so much of a "Damn brits", but more of a "Francis Fulford is a blowhard twat that managed to get on TV" link. Attention, attention! Asshole gets TV show! News at 11!

Out of interest IronWolve, where the hell are you from?

You're reporting on an British TV channel, broadcasting in Britain, and claiming that you pay our "TV tax". However your posts suggest you are a Merkin, you refer to "coming over here" and you give the "tax" its incorrect name.

I can't decide if I should shout "Troll" or "Idiot".

That SkyTV page is perhaps the single greatest thing I have ever seen in my life.

Thanks, Wolfs.

Okay... calling an American an Merkin while accusing them of being a troll isn't a great move. Assume I'm using it as an affectionate term.

I think IronWolve's writing the manual on creto-viral marketing. This thread will be the case study for chapter 3...
