Toys! Flickr Toys, that is. Like any self respecting wannabe photographer, I've been using flickr. A lot. I just found Flickr Toys at FlagrantDisregard. While QOOP has the official hookup on the flickr site, there are more silly things that can be done with FlagrantDisregard's toys and you can upload your finished masterpiece directly to your flickr account to save for posterity. I've already spent wasted too much time making Magazine Covers, Mosaics and Naughty Motivational Posters.

I'm looking but I can't find that this was posted before and that astonishes me. I've been happily playing with fd's Flickr widgets for months now. This one's my favorite (yes, its a link to one of my Flickr photos).

And he keeps adding new and fun toys to play around with too!

"Like any self respecting wannabe photographer, I've been using flickr"

Just to be fair, a good number of self-respecting wannabe photographers are now using 23. Or hosting the photos on their own site. Not me, though. I'm a Flickrite.

People are using 23? I was under the assumption that it was the poor man's Flickr.

Man, but those FD tools are hella fun. Digg++! Err good linkage!

Well, not a lot of people, but at least someone is. The one thing I like about 23 better (as a viewer) is the thumbnail set view. Those are some big-ass thumbnails and they even include captions.

Many of us don't have time for both flickr and a blog and for commenting at places at metafilter, y'know, not to mention taking photographs on top of all that.

But if you like to take photos, then Flickr is a great way of both storing and sharing them.

I found these great, thanks for the post. I especially like the poster making function.

Right there with ya. I searched seven ways to Sunday thinking it must have been posted and half expected to get slammed for a double this morning.
