Who do they think cares about this bashing? Nothing can come out to make Liberals hate Bush more, yet any Republican will tell you it really doesn't matter since there is nothing you can do but wait it out.

Will we ever find out?

Is this a rhetorical question? I am going to answer it anyway:

George W. Bush is a small minded reject of a human being. He will burn in hell-fire for his sins, his stupidity.

He lacks spiritual balance.

"ANDY TOWLE: This week, President Bush said that he hadn’t seen Brokeback. Do you plan to offer him a screening?

PRODUCER JAMES SHAMUS: (Laughs) Actually, the studio has been asked and the studio has answered. We were asked for a print of the movie which we supplied to the White House. So maybe somebody there has seen the movie. I'm hopeful that somebody who knows what it's like to be gay in Wyoming might have seen it at least. (laughs) You supply the print but no one's going to tell you who saw it or anything. We're happy to send a free screener but I have to say, just like everybody else, we're gonna watermark it so it doesn't get pirated."

this is the all important point about bush ... his biggest failing

he is incompetent

he has failed at everything he has attempted to do

it is some measure of our country's degeneracy and impotency that this is a partisan issue instead of a national outrage ... but if we were to get rid of ALL the incompetents, who'd be left to run the country?

us ... hmmm ... now that's an idea ...

Spectacularly bad post.

Congratulations, whozyerdaddy, you've won the scorn and mockery of thousands!

I don't see how holding a president responsible for his track record and for his administration's established record for secrecy, impinging on the rights of individuals, and for corruption is necessarily "bashing".

I mean, really... the corruption is actually the smallest complaint here. His administration would probably be a lot more corrupt if only they weren't so busy trampling on our freedoms.

This administration's "incompetence" is largely intentional. It's been in the GOP playbook for 20 years to tell America that government doesn't work, and then get elected and prove it.

I digress but I can remember being on an island in Thailand smoking an after dinner joint with my Thai/Singapore scuba instructor and two ladies from Amarillo Texas a week after Bush won his second term.

I did my best to avoid the topic of politics the whole evening, but at one point my instructor kept chiding me for not giving a Canadian opinion on Bush. So with a great deal of apprehension I succumbed to his persistence and explained how I could understand why people voted for Bush the first time around. But to think that after four years they couldn't find a single person out of the 295 million Americans that was more competent then him was a bit of a disappointment for me and most of my fellow Canadians.

One of the girls from Texas (and it was her first week ever away from home) was livid. She asked me how I dared to question Bush's competence and asked if I thought I could have done a better job. I tried to explain that my actions as the first Canadian president of the USA would have little bearing on Bush's competence, but things quickly went downhill from there. Somehow word got around pretty quickly the next day and I was toasted quite a few free drinks by the Brits and Aussies after that. So I guess I can at least be thankful that Bush helped me get those drinks and a brief boost in local popularity. I hope things work out better for y'all.

Ever stop and think: Given the corruption and incompetency we know about, how much worse is that which we are yet unaware? Who knows what evil lurks, beyond our darkest imaginings?
