What difference does yet more proof make? Reality simply doesn't matter.

So many things have piled on Bush's reputation that this is just a drop in the bucket.

I checked my outrage tank. It's empty.

Honestly, if everything that's come out unti now hasn't been enough to cause serious investigation into both administrations, nothing is enough. Until the Republicans no longer control the government, the government can't be trusted to investigate or regulate the behaviour of the office of the president.

No chit. Bush pretty much outted this in the SOTU when he alluded to bringing the war to "them".

So then Bush ...(wait for it)... LIED when he had done everything to counter war.
It was what he WANTED, whether the public, or the world wanted it or not.

I know that everything's "a drop in the bucket" these days and scandal fatigue and all that, but we honestly already knew this. We knew Bush wanted war with Saddam, and Blair wanted to "disarm" him. We already knew that Bush was not concerned with getting UN approval to invade Iraq. Hell, even if you supported the invasion you already knew this.

To My Fellow Americians:

Here's a link to contact info for your congressman. Spend a bit of time and send them a handwritten letter to let them know what you think. It's election season and now is a great time to get involved and take action.

The real question is, how will Bush apologist spin this?

Tune in tomorrow, after they've gathered their talking points from the wingnut echo chamber.
