It's the Tim Curry Special.

Is it me, or does that "Hormones" section look really freaking dangerous? That's not the sort of thing you want to fuck around with without the supervision of an endocrinologist.

Alright! Thanks philcliff! I've been looking for a place like this for ages...what is it they do again?

The point of this FPP escapes me... please explain...

Are we to be amazed, shocked, amused, titillated?

HuronBob, you forgot to mention the possibility of PepsiBlue.

That heavy rhinestone 16 row choker is just the thing I need to hide my Adam's apple.

Merits of posting a link to a fairly standard drag store aside, the modernpeapod '(via)' was probably worth the post. Looks like a cool site, with a nice 3-part look at the Cary Grant DVD box, among lots of other good stuff.

Oh my...

Now that just looks damn uncomfortable.

and then there is Wildside which has been discreetly in business for around 20 years in beautiful downtown Toronto.

besides their online store, they have a real-world shop where they create 'tranformations' (check out the online gallery) and a bed & breakfast where one can check in as a guy, and stay as a woman, then go home as a guy. almost all the clients are hetero fellas.

you haven't seen a superbowl party until you've been to one of theirs where all the cheerleader girls are actually guys, complete with pom-poms.

Neat! However:

Fully raised nipples make you feel even more feminine.

Do women always have raised nipples? Like all the time? Geez, I never knew...

This formula is all new with such good things as raw ovary, raw gland concentrate and other natural hormones plus herbs. 100 tablet bottle.

Can I get mine with extra raw ovary, please?

Seriously, this looks to be the US equivalent of notorious UK tranny rip-off merchants Transformation - a bunch of complete piss-artists selling horribly overpriced clothing, straw wigs and snake-oil hormones to closeted crossdressers and naive transsexuals who don't know there's better, cheaper stores out there that don't trade on their customers' misplaced sense of shame. Christ, those wigs are obscenely expensive, and their breastforms start at $189! They look like silicone potatoes!

Speaking as a drag queen, I wouldn't touch the store or its products with someone else's ten foot pole, let alone my own. I can't fathom why they'd call themselves 'drag-queen' when their trade is inevitably with closeted transvestites, either - I'd have thought the association would lose them business from the sort of people who're in middle age, are finally tentatively starting to explore their kinks, and tend to display a weird need to be told exactly what imagined category they fit into and how this means they should act.

Actually, I can't link to Transformation without linking some of the hilarious shit they peddle to the naive and unwary. The female face masks are a particular joy in a sort of 'um, that's a picture of a woman' sense. I can't find the link now, but I've seen a pictorial dissection of one of these things somewhere, by a tranny who bought one back in her exploratory days, and I think the only term that covers it is 'shit-scary'.

Thankfully, help is at hand, from the frankly amazing Tatt4Trannies, which may just possibly not be a real shop, sadly. I've linked the wigs page, but it's worth clicking around - it's all good stuff.

(I'm male-to-female transgender four years into transition.)

There are so many people that prey on societies insecurities. This is a great example of that. The "breast cream" sold in places like this is maybe, MAYBE, 0.01% more likely to give you enhancement than just applying Noxzema.

But, for someone finding their way there is very little out there in the way of help. If you don't happen to live in the Bluest of All Blue (Massachusetts), there are very few support groups and those that exist are usually setup to help more of the LGB part of the LGBT acronym.

If one wants to get estrogen (or similar), you can do it right now, legally, without a prescription, from places in the US. I think doing that is risky (blood clots can kill), but if you really need to get them you can for about $25/month. Without insurance.
